Hope on tracks

Rail Duniya

There was a railway track on my way to college. While returning back, I mostly used to sit there for sometime and wait for a train to arrive.

I love watching trains for some unknown reasons.

Maybe it’s the way they fill up the empty tracks and the whistle that follows.

I think about so many people in that train are going to places they are new to, discovering themselves through experiences, working their way out to something better.

There is a sound of hopefulness in the whistle of the train.

I see so many people in the train. Some standing at the gate, some sitting in with their family enjoying the journey, some peeking out of the window to get glimpse of life in a different land and some capturing moments in lense.

There are so many different stories filled with the thought of just one destination.

Same destination, different hopes.

Same roads, different journeys.

Same train, different tracks.

I watch trains and hope they arrive at their destinations soon.

If our life is moving forward like a train, the tracks are a metaphor for our hopes.

Only our hopes are carrying our life forward.

In all this hustle of getting to your destination, find a stop to look at other people with hopes.

Hope of not being hopeless. Hopes of getting there even with a slow pace. Hope of getting there even after hours of delay.

रेलवे के E टिकट

हाल ही सुना है, IRCTC अपने e टिकट पर फिरसे सर्विस चार्जेस वसूलना शुरू करने वाली है। पहले यह चार्जेस एसी वर्ग के लिए ₹30/- और गैर एसी के लिए ₹20/- प्रति व्यक्ति लगते थे, जो कैशलेस व्यावहारोंको बढ़ावा देने हेतु बन्द कर दिए थे। जहां तक यही चार्ज फिर से लगने की सम्भवना है।

IRCTC यह भारतीय रेलवे की वाणिज्यिक इकाई है और रेल्वेज के सभी e टीकीटिंग सर्विसेस ये ही सम्भालती है।

e टिकिटिंग रेल यात्रिओंके लिए काफी सुविधाजनक है। मोबाइल, डेटा सुविधा के कारण काफी लोग इसका उपयोग करते है। e सर्विसेस के जानकार लोग ही नही बल्कि रेलवे क्षेत्र से दूर रहने वाले आम लोग भी e टिकटिंग के ही व्यवस्थाओंके भरोसे अपने आरक्षित टिकट बनाते है।

IRCTC की इस सुविधा की वजह से काउंटर पर टिकट लेने वालोंकी भीड़ बिल्कुल ही कम हो गई थी। लोग अपने घर पर बैठे बैठे रेलवे के आरक्षण टिकट ले लिया करते है। रेलवे विभाग की स्टेशनरी की काफी बचत होती थी। आरक्षण फॉर्म्स, टिकट छापने की स्टेशनरी, फिर रद्द करना हो तो फिर से छपाई। यह सब झंझटोसे रेलवे और यात्री दोनों ही मुक्त थे।

आज भी सुदूर गांवोमे रेल टिकट या आरक्षण काउंटर उपलब्ध नही है। शहरोंमें भी बस्तियोंका विस्तार होने से भी यात्रिओंको e टिकट ही सुविधाजनक लगता है। ऐसी सूरत में यदि IRCTC फिरसे सर्विस चार्ज शुरू कर दे तो लोग फिर से काउंटर की ओर रुख़ करने लगेंगे। जिन के 8-10 लोगोंको यात्रा करनी है उसके तो 150-200 रुपए बच जाएंगे। फिर से काउंटरों पर भीड़ भाड़, धक्कामुक्की का वातावरण रहने लगेगा।

हमारा तो आग्रह है, रेल प्रशासन सभी प्रतिक्षा सूची वाले टिकटोको केवल ई टिकट के स्वरूप में ही जारी करे, ताकी वेटिंग लिस्ट टिकटोंका रद्दीकरण भी अपनेआप हो जाएगा और वे यात्री जो हमेशा असमंजस में अपनी यात्रा वेटिंग टिकट पे ही करते रहते है वह भी परेशानी खत्म हो जाएगी।

आज भी, क्लर्केज के नाम पर ढेरों रद्दीकरण शुल्क रेलवे के पास जमा होता है तो क्यों न रेलवे इसी शुल्क से IRCTC की e टिकिटिंग व्यवस्था को बिना सर्विस चार्ज लिए बनाए रखे? जब IRCTC को रेलवे की कोई स्टेशनरी नही लगती और न ही रेलवे को IRCTC के E टिकट निकालने वाले किसी यात्री की किसी भी तरह की व्यक्तिगत सुविधाओं पर ध्यान देना पड़ता है, तो हमे लगता है की रेल प्रशासन ने उल्टा E टिकिटिंग लेने वाले यात्रिओंको प्रमोट करने हेतु डिस्काउंट देना चाहिए। चलो डिस्काउंट नही देते है तो कमसे कम एक्स्ट्रा सर्विस चार्जेस तो न थोपे।

हमें आशा ही नही बल्कि विश्वास है, हमारे माननीय रेल मंत्रीजी जो की CA भी है, इस अकाउंट को सही कराएंगे।

पुणे मिरज कोल्हापुर हुबली : न्यूज

पुणे मिरज हुबली सेक्शन में गाड़ियोंके समय अस्तव्यस्त हुए है। इस रेल सेक्शन की गाड़ियोंकी ताजा स्थिति :-

पालघाट, शोरानुर में भी बाढ़ स्थिति बन रही है, साथ ही मुम्बई का अपडेट भी आया है।

12619 #LTT-#Mangalore #Express sch dep 1520 hrs on 9.8.2019 is #RESCHEDULED at 2235 hrs on 9.8.2019 (Delay by 7 hrs 15 minutes). Inconvenience caused is regretted.

TRACK SUSPENDED IN PALGHAT DIVISION OF SOUTHERN RAILWAY
Due to Flooding reported between Palakkad – Ottappalam, Shoranur – Kuttipuram and Ferok – Kallayi sections of Palghat Division, Track suspended on these sections from 12.45 hrs on 9th August 2019. Landslip has also been reported at Karakkad, near Shoranur
In view of this, Train traffic affected in Palakkad – Ernakulam, Palakkad – Shoranur and Shoranur – Kozhikode sections.
Consequently, the following trains are cancelled on 9th August 2019.
• Train No.16603 Mangalore – Trivandrum Maveli Express of 9th August 2019
• Train No.22207 MGR Chennai Central – Trivandrum AC Express of 9th August 2019
• Train No.12601 MGR Chennai Central – Mangalore Mail of 9th August 2019
PARTIAL CANCELLATION
Train No.12602 Mangalore – MGR Chennai Central Mail which left Mangalore on 8th August 2019 is partially cancelled between Shoranur and Chennai.
