भारतीय रेल में कुछ इंटरसिटी गाड़ियाँ छोड़ दे तो अमूमन सभी यात्री गाड़ियोंमे अग्रिम आरक्षण अवधि 120 दिनोंकी है। अर्थात आप अपनी रेल यात्रा की टिकट 120 दिन पहले की तिथि का आरक्षण करा सकते है।
रेल मुख्यालय ने आज एक परिपत्रक निकाल कर इस 120 दिनोंकी ARP को अग्रिम आरक्षण अवधि को घटाकर 60 दिनोंकी कर दी है। यह निर्णय 01 नवम्बर 2024 से लागू हो जाएगा।
इसका सीधा अर्थ यह है, 31 अक्टूबर 2024 तक यात्री 120 दिन पहले तक के आरक्षण ले सकते है और 01 नवम्बर के बाद उन्हें केवल 60 दिन अग्रिम याने दो माह पहले की तिथि के टिकट आरक्षित करते आएंगे। जिन गाड़ियोंमे अग्रिम आरक्षण अवधि 60 दिनोंसे कम, जैसे की ताज एक्सप्रेस, गोमती एक्सप्रेस इन गाड़ियोंमे एक सप्ताह की अग्रिम आरक्षण अवधि है, उनमें कोई बदलाव नही किया जाएगा।

भारतीय रेलवे मुख्यालय का यह निर्णय स्वागतयोग्य है। इससे टिकिटों की कालाबाजारी करने वालों पर असर होगा। वैसे अग्रिम आरक्षण अवधि को 60 दिनोंसे और भी घटाकर 30 या 15 दिनोंतक लाया जाना चाहिए।

Online booking also needs this strict rules, On IRCTC on ID Travellers list should b compulsory with Adharcard No Gendar, Age ,other than on that ID eg 4 Approved list ,He shouldn’t b allowed to book other than Extra names, this should b linked with Debit/ credit cards with passwords at the time of windows booking or online, To enable controls on unauthorised Agents & illegal passengers travel.
