मध्य रेलवे और पश्चिम रेलवे ने मेन लाइन और हार्बर लाइनोंपर सीमित रूपसे लोकल गाड़ियाँ शुरू की है। और विशेष सूचना भी दी है की उपरोक्त लोकल गाड़ियाँ केवल राज्य सरकार द्वारा नामित कर्मियोंके लिए ही वैलिड रहेगी। कृपया अन्य यात्री इन गाड़ियोंमे यात्रा करने का आग्रह न करें। इस तरह का सूचना पत्र रेलवे ने जारी किया है, जो यहाँपर जोड़ रहे है।
Infrared Camera Based Temperature Monitoring System to ensure contactless entry at railway stations
Indian Railways has partially resumed passenger train services on important routes in the country and it is taking several measures to prevent the spread of COVID19 infection. In order to effectively scan passengers for symptoms of COVID19, Central Railway has set up a body screening facility (FebriEye) at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT). This ensures contactless entry for train travellers in order to avoid spread of infection of coronavirus.
Yet another effort towards passenger safety after Automated Ticket Checking and Managing Access (ATMA) machine and Always be Responsible and Just Use to be Nice (ARJUN) a robotic Captain. Shri Sanjeev Mittal, General Manager, Central Railway appreciated and congratulated officers and staff of Central Railway for this FebriEye human body screening facility.
Shri Shivaji Sutar, Chief Public Relations Officer, Central Railway said that FebriEye thermal cameras can cover large areas which means it can detect the temperature of multiple people entering at once at a premise and record temperature automatically while passengers keep on moving.
Presently all passengers boarding Mail/Express trains at CSMT and LTT are being scanned by Febrieye at the entry point for higher temperature before going inside the platform for boarding. All railway staff and officers coming for duty at these two major stations are also being screened through this AI (Artificial Intelligence) based camera.
Shri Shalabh Goel, Divisional Railway Manager, Mumbai Division said that Indian Railways is committed to use the latest available technology for helping our passengers travel in a seamless fashion, while ensuring desired safety checks. This initiative of Mumbai Division, Central Railway is a step forward in this direction.
FebriEye is an AI based thermal screening system for real time and automated, non-intrusive monitoring to ensure that a person entering doesn’t have a high fever. FebriEye is equipped with ‘Black Body’, a constant temperature source that ensures accuracy in temperature readings of up to 0.3 degree Celsius (+/-).

Febrieye use heat sensors that can record heat generated by the body of a person or an object to create a 2D image with differing temperature levels. When passengers pass before the cameras, anyone with temperature above the set range will be shown in a different colour pattern than the rest on the computer screen connected to the cameras.
The Febri Eye human body screening facility by Central Railway is a step forward to modern security measures introduced by Railways.
These facilities started at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai.

भारतीय रेलवे 1 हाई राइज ओवर हेड इक्विपमेंट (ओएचई) को चालू करके एक नया विश्व मानदंड बनाया है। इसमें 7.57 मीटर की तार की ऊंचाई होती है और पश्चिम रेलवे ने सफलतापूर्वक विद्युतीकृत क्षेत्र में डबल स्टैक कंटेनर चलाया है।
यह बड़ी कामयाबी पूरी दुनिया में अपनी तरह की पहली पहल है और यह भारतीय रेलवे के लिए एक नवीनतम हरित पहल के रूप में ग्रीन इंडिया के महत्वाकांक्षी मिशन को भी बढ़ावा देगी।
इसके साथ ही भारतीय रेलवे ओएचई क्षेत्र में उच्च पहुंच वाले पैनोग्राफ के साथ डबल स्टैक कंटेनर ट्रेन चलाने वाला पहला रेलवे बन गया है। इसका संचालन 10 जून, 2020 को गुजरात के पालनपुर और बोटाद स्टेशनों के बीच सफलतापूर्वक शुरू किया गया।

सबसे पहले लीजिए मध्य रेलवे की सबसे पुरानी गाड़ी 12137 / 12138 मुम्बई फिरोजपुर मुम्बई पंजाब मेल जल्द ही LHB डिब्बों से सुसज्जित की जा रही है। इन डिब्बों की गति क्षमता 130 – 200 kmph की होती है, साथ ही यह डिब्बे आरामदायक और सुरक्षित होते है। लिस्ट में और भी कई गाड़ियाँ है जो LHB होने जा रही है। LHB रेक जे साथ गाड़ी चले तो गाड़ी की यात्री क्षमता में कमसे कम 10% की बढ़ोतरी होती है।
